the most resent reading was about Ruth repaying the debt that Kathy made with saving Ruth from the conversation about her pencil case that she lied to everyone about. she got Kathy a new cassette tape because she lost the last one she had. it was nice of her but Kathy felt bad about hurting Ruth's feelings. the relationship of the friends lasts longer though so that's a good thing.
